WHY TO GET FRUSTRATED??
My Humble Pranams to all...!! In life
we all have to face ups and downs and when life goes the way we desire we are
overjoyed and when it doesn’t, we get frustrated. Since many of the things that
we desire to accomplish requires a degree of frustration and being able to
manage this will let us lead a positive and a happy life at all circumstances.
Here goes to a motivating story shared to me once by my mother in law,
Mrs.Rukmani Kannan. In a village, lived a businessman named, Murugan and he was
frustrated because he faced a major loss in his business and he assumed that
there was no other chances to come out of this loss and he wanted to commit
suicide by falling off from a mountain cliff. So Murugan was on his way to the
mountain and on the route he found a dustbin . From this dustbin one scrap
collector was gathering all the waste papers and was out finding the useful
ones from it and was collecting them for his personal use. A few minutes later,
another junk man arrived and accumulated all the old caps, plastic bottles,
plates and piled it up in a sac for his use and took it along with him. Then a
dog came and found in the bin some left over rice in a banana leaf and so it
had the rice and throwed the leaf away. Lastly a cow came along the way of the
dustbin and had the thrown away banana leaf also. Seeing this, Murugan gained
confidence that when a small waste bin could provide life to so many
people then in this vast world, how many opportunities would await for
one? He then changed his mind and gave up on suicide and started exploring on
the next possible opportunity that he could do with a lot of confidence. One
thing is for certain in life, there are many ups and downs and to appreciate
and fully enjoy the ups we must all go through some downs. A stone might seem
to look like a big rock when we place it in front of our eyes and the same
stone will look like a pebble when we place it at a distance and if we start
figuring out on alternatives in this vast world and come out it. As Dr. A.P. J.
Abdul Kalam righty states, “we should not give up and we should not allow the
problem to defeat us.” I hope we will all find the courage to accept the
problem and evaluate it well and take actions to defeat the same.
