DONT REGRET YOUR PAST, LEARN FROM IT..!!


My Humble Pranams to all...!!  Our past experiences play a huge role in deciding who we are and what we want in our lives. If we are unable to let go of our past, we will struggle to give our future the attention it deserves and even miss out joy of leaving in present. However, letting go is easier said than done we might find our minds which is constantly pulled back to the past even if we have a genuine desire to move on. But what we must understand is we can’t change our past and we can only take responsibility of one’s future and therefore overcome our challenges in the past and become stronger and more capable. Let’s discuss on few ways to productively use our past difficulties in order to change and grow as a person. 1) Expressing oneself will help us get rid of our negative emotions and it might include speaking to person who directly played a role in our distress or writing down a letter which might probably not be sent but gives us sense of relief especially to get rid of the emotions in our system. 2) To practice meditation and focus on the present. It helps to encourage current feelings and simply reduces the time we think of the past. 3) Getting support from our family or friend circle to allow us to vent out on the emotions and explore on ideas to move on. 4) To Accept our future and allow oneself in the belief of possibility of having one better future. It could be simply from taking on new hobbies to occupy our time and energy. 5) Forgiving those who wronged will help to trust others in future. Thinking about past can simply make us sad and robs the opportunity to enjoy the present. And remembering this phrase, “Yesterday is a history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift and that’s why they call it present”. I hope we all do something unique today and welcome happiness in one’s life.
